I have a friend who is very close to me. Why we are very close, maybe because we have similarities in our characteristics. My friend and his family are very generous kind of people. I really admire the way they treated their neighbors and friends. They are not politicians and not high profile individuals but they are known in our country. This is because of their being helpful and supportive to their fellow men. In times of tragedies and some community problems, they are there to extend their help and support. They also usually engage in some community services. This is how they spend their idle time.
Actually this summer, they are planning to do a lot of activities. They are also planning to join a race for a cause. My friend invited me to join them also. According to my friend this race would benefit mostly for women and other organizations. This is to help people to become more aware about issues like family violence. Giving awareness also for other issues like sexual assault, abuses and other related issues is also one the objectives of this race. My friend and his family wanted me and my family to join them. Well, I really want to join them anyway. According to my friend aside from the reasons that were stated above, even the awareness for breast cancer will be a concern also in this race. I am interested about this. I hope my family and our other neighbors will also join us.
